Walk In Your Liberty
About Destinee King
My Testimony
At a young age the enemy was after my innocence and at the age of 13 he succeeded. I was sexual abused by a pastor who was also known as my god father. The abuse went on for years and when I finally decided to speak out, I was shut down, my voice was ignored.
Finally, in 2020 someone heard me, my attorney. I remember when she looked me in my eyes and said what is wrong and I told her she wouldn't believe me and she replied she would. I told her all about the abuse and she sat there in tears. That was the first time I felt seen and heard. Then the shift began.
My voice was taken back; My boldness was taken back. This was the start of being No Longer Bound.

Accept
No more burying what happened to you. Face it, accept it. It does not matter if no one believed you or you didn't speak up, it happened and that scar is still there. It's time to stop using temporary fixes and allow the scar to fully heal.
" The Lord is close to all whose hearts are crushed by pain, and he is always ready to restore the repentant one. "
Psalms 34:18 TPT
Forgive
Forgiveness is not for your abuser, it's for you. The enemy thrives in your unforgiveness. Unforgiveness leads to bitterness and locks you in bondage. Unforgiveness keeps us tethered to the very pain and person who hurt you. It robs you of your peace. Also, if you do not forgive, you will not be forgiven.
“And whenever you stand praying, if you find that you carry something in your heart against another person, release him and forgive him so that your Father in heaven will also release you and forgive you of your faults. But if you will not release forgiveness, don’t expect your Father in heaven to release you from your misdeeds.”
Mark 11:25-26 TPT

Heal
Once you forgive, lay down all the things that came with unforgiveness. Depression, anger, self-hate, suicide and whatever else has you in a chokehold that is hindering you from being the fully healed version of yourself. Break free from it in Jesus name.
“At last we have freedom, for Christ has set us free! We must always cherish this truth and firmly refuse to go back into the bondage of our past.”
Galatians 5:1 TPT
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
Isaiah 53:5 KJV
